About Us

We’re a seed-stage startup building AI-powered workflow automation for wealth management. Our product extracts and structures financial data from documents, integrating seamlessly into advisors’ existing systems. We’ve closed our seed round and are building the core product team.

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join our team and help us build the future of enterprise wealth management. You'll be the first full-time technical hire alongside the CTO and play a foundational role in defining and building our platform.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who ships fast, isn’t afraid to operate in new technical domains, and is excited about applying AI to solve real business problems.

Key Responsibilities

Own and ship core product features end-to-end across the stack (Rails, Postgres, Bootstrap, Hotwire, Heroku)
Collaborate directly with the CTO on system architecture and product direction
Move fast — interact with customers, prototype, test, and iterate quickly based on enterprise user feedback
Contribute to building development infrastructure, testing pipelines, and code quality standards
Help define engineering culture and, over time, shape the early team

Experience & Qualifications

3+ years building production-grade web applications at enterprise or consumer technology companies
Strong experience with Rails, Postgres, and Hotwire
Comfort working independently in a fast-moving, unstructured environment
Customer-oriented — you care about the “why,” not just the “what”
Clear written and spoken communicator
Familiarity with LLMs, vector search, or data extraction pipelines
Proven ability to dive into new technical domains, pick up unfamiliar frameworks, and quickly ship production-ready solutions
Incorporate a long-term mindset to build maintainable, scalable code
