Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for smart people who enjoy full-stack development and who value well-designed user interfaces, the Agile methodology, and devising creative solutions for challenging problems. We value positive individuals who understand that collaboration and design are the fundamental requirements for creating strong products.

Our tech stack is comprised of Ruby on Rails, Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, JQuery, Bootstrap, AWS, Phusion Passenger and Nginx.

What you’ll be doing

We have a highly collaborative environment! You’ll work closely with the development team, senior leadership, internal teams and customers to develop best-in-class features for our platform.

Our development team is nimble and handpicked, and our bureaucracy is kept at an absolute minimum.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Solid understanding of the entire tech stack
• Strong database query optimization experience
• Experience with database schema design
• Knowing how to avoid contributing to technical debt
• Experience making technical recommendations, large and small
• Strong knowledge of OO principles and design
