Job Summary

Join Ambitious Idea Labs as a Technical Support Engineer and become an integral part of the team supporting Ambiki, our advanced practice management tool designed for speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. This role blends technical skills with customer service, ensuring the quality and reliability of Ambiki's software while enhancing the user experience through effective support. Ideally, after 18 months in this role, you would graduate to become a Junior Developer on the team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to support/feedback messages, documenting common usability issues to improve software quality.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify, report, and resolve software bugs.
  • Engage directly with users to ensure the software meets their needs.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of product features, releases, vision, and roadmap.
  • Create and maintain help articles.

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively.
  • Some experience in Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn customer support techniques.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred (but not required).
  • Some experience in customer service or SaaS industries is a plus.
